We are very excited to announce that we are expecting a new little girl due November 1st! Aubrey will be a big sister soon! 

Also in May we went to St. George with Grandma and Grandpa Hyer, Aunty Brandi and Daxton, Aunt Racinda, Kalie, and Tahnee. We swam at the pool everyday. Aubrey loved the alligator and frog blowup toys. She also liked watching Daxton and Kalie jump from the rocks. We all enjoyed the nice sunshine for a change. 

Corey, Casey and Alisa came later that weekend. We celebrated Corey's birthday there. Aubrey enjoyed swimming with her Dad and helping him open his presents. We had a really fun weekend shopping, eating, and swimming. Can't beat that!

We've done a lot this summer so far. We went to the zoo. After that, Corey, Aubrey and I went to Thomas the Train in Heber City with Grandma and Grandpa Cox, Brook and Kenny and their little ones, Lilly, Iven, and Maxwell. This was probably Aubrey's most favorite experience ever.She was sooooooo excited. Riding on the train wasn't as exciting as seeing Thomas' face and watching his eyes move and everything. She still loves just looking at the pictures. 

On May 8th, Aubrey and I went to the zoo with Aunty Brandi and Daxton. It was a perfect day. The weather was great and we got to see a lot of the animals. I think Aubrey liked the monkeys best out of all the animals. She probably felt right at home. HA! That elephant posed perfectly for this picture. Aubrey had so much fun riding on the train, too. I've never been a huge fan of the zoo, but I had so much fun watching Aubrey. I just knew she would love the zoo, and she did!

Outwest 2008

This last weekend was the big Outwest trip.  This year we had most of the key ingredients of a good Outwest trip:  allergies, guns, ATVs, and lizards.  Absent this year were rabbits and snakes.  So what do you shoot on a poor snake/rabbit trip?  I think this is why we started doing the clay pigeon trap contest.  FYI...I shot an unusually poor 2/5 the first round.  After the contest I shot the last remaining pigeons...5/5.  I just needed a warm-up.

This year we had some of the best ATV riding to date.  The trail had river crossings, side-hills, mud, snow, sagebrush bushwhacking, and one 45 degree descent at 8200 ft.  It was an epic ride with one roll, one tip over, and few close calls on the steep rock descent.

This picture is a little more up-to-date (April). I just thought it was a funny picture of Aubrey wearing a box as a hat. Aubrey is so funny sometimes. She keeps us entertained.

Sorry, these photos aren't the most up-to-date, but I thought I ought to show Aubrey having fun on Easter. She had a blast playing with the pink grass we put in her basket.
