I LIKE TO MOVE IT!

I just had to post this video of Aubrey and Sienna dancing. It's hilarious.

April 2009

I figure if I update my blog every month, I'll be doing pretty good for me. My toddler likes to help me, which makes it difficult if not impossible. I have to set aside an entire day just to update the blog.

Sienna is getting big. Her favorite things to do these days are ride on the stuffed horse, ride the little pooh car outside, or just sit and play with toys. And when she isn't doing one of those things, she has to be held.  Aubrey loves to entertain Sienna mostly by spitting at her or sneezing on her, which I really don't like but Sienna thinks it's hilarious. If Sienna starts crying, Aubrey tries her hardest to make her happy again. She's a very loving big sister.

Easter -

We celebrated Easter in St. George with my family. We had a fun little easter egg hunt. Aubrey's favorite part was finding a snail in the driveway. I think snails are pretty darn yucky. They were all over my parent's yard in St. George. Aubrey loved it. Her cousin, Iven, also caught a frog and let Aubrey hold it. She talked about that for weeks.

Sienna was lots of fun. It was her first Easter and I think she enjoyed being with her cousins. Grandpa Cox held her nearly the entire time, so she got a little spoiled. She seriously hasn't been the same since. She has to be held all the time.

Look, a snail!

Happy Spring!

Aubrey and Sienna Pictures

I'm so excited! We actually got a few pictures of Aubrey and Sienna together. After the last time we had pictures taken at KiddieKandids I wasn't sure that it was possible. Too bad we couldn't get Sienna to smile with Aubrey, but I took what I could get. Anyway, overall I have to say the pictures turned out pretty dang cute!

Spring Fever

OK, so it's about time for it to start warming up and I think it's about time I update my blog. Sorry...

Sienna is getting so big. I took Sienna to the doctor last week and he said to get her on solids right away because her weight is low. I thought she was looking pretty good to me, but I'm not a doctor. So that same day we gave her some cream-of-wheat because that's all we had. Corey had a super fun time feeding it to her. She liked eating it, but she had a pretty hard time getting it down. It all pretty much came out her mouth before she could swallow it.

I had to throw a few pictures of Aubrey in. She actually looked at the camera and smiled long enough to get a few decent pictures. She's been sick lately, so I'm really looking forward to end of the cold/flu season.

I also had to throw in a few pictures of our yard. We took these a few weeks ago, before it snowed again. This is just a sample of what we ( and by we I mean Corey ) has to look forward to this spring. Lots and lots and lots of branches. Piles of 'em. I should have taken a before and after shot because Corey did an amazing job raking them up. I'm not pregnant this year so I don't have a real good excuse not to help in the yard this year. SUPER! I can't wait!

VEGAS WEEKEND

Last weekend I went on a girl's trip (Mom, Sisters, Aunt and Cousins) to Las Vegas to see Phantom of the Opera at The Venetian. My Dad and my uncle actually gave this package to all us girls as a Christmas present. It was so fun! The Phantom was spectacular of course because Las Vegas shows spare no expense. The performers, the sound, the orchestra, the scenery, the special effects, everything was by far the best I've seen, and I've seen Phantom of the Opera 4, maybe 5 times. The Venetian is great! It was huge. Corey has been there quite a few times. He actually planned on giving me the same present for our anniversary, but my Dad beat him to it. Anyway, we had so much fun, other than I lost $6 on the slots and I've never gambled before (and I never will again - not so fun if you're a loser).

This was taken from the advertisement.
Doesn't the Venetian look awesome?!  I would love to visit Vegas again.
Aubrey stayed with Grandma Peggy.  Mandy, Caden's fiancee, gave aubrey a mermaid costume and Aubrey wouldn't take it off. I think Sienna and Aubrey had lots of fun. I know Aubrey did because, even though she was excited to see me,  she really wasn't too excited to go home. That is, until I told her we were going to see Dad. Corey stayed home. He was real sick with a cold and the flu.  Poor kid.
Happy, adorable, little Sienna! I really missed my girls!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

We had such a wonderful Christmas holiday! We were gone all week from Monday night until Sunday. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my parent's house. Aubrey and Sienna both  had a blast with her cousins. Sienna and Canon acted like they were old friends. They smiled and cooed at each other. It was soooo cute! Aubrey was so spoiled, but she loved every little present she got. My sister bought her toys from the movie The Nightmare before Christmas. She looked at the book for forever. The only thing Aubrey wanted from Santa was a Tinker Bell doll. The first thing she said when she woke up Christmas morning was "Tinker Bell." It was so cute!
We had such a fun time all week, but it ended up being a lot of traveling. Corey's brother, Caden, just got home from his mission to Alaska on the 23rd and he reported his mission that Sunday. He did such a nice job, by the way. By Sunday Aubrey wanted to go to "Aubrey's house" pretty bad. She kept saying "Aubrey's house." I was pretty ready to go home myself, but, like I said, we had a wonderful time!

Tired baby.
Deliriously happy!

Aubrey's first Candy Cane. What a mess! But she loved every bite.
Undressing the tree.
Dad and Sienna wearing their new outfits for Christmas.
Sienna and Canon, best buds!
Aubrey was so tired Christmas Eve. Everyone stayed up until after midnight. She came close to just crashing on the floor a couple of times, but there was just way too much excitement going on.

Merry Christmas, Everybody!
